Played the game for 2 1/2 hours, here are my thoughts.
Fairly simple top-down shooter. Minimalistic and easy to get into. The upgrade system is a nice touch, giving your more bullets per shot and eventually more health to survive longer. Has the arcade feel and a difficulty that isn't too hard. Additional endless modes just let you enjoy the game and...
Not bad at all!! Pretty fun little shmup here. It starts out kinda rough as your ship is a POS at the start though, but when you get past it it started to really grow on me.

It is a fun game. Get Tripoli as soon as possible for maximum enjoyment. It makes the game much easier (I only died about 5 times to win the game). Then I had to "die" 45 more times for the achievements.
Some people say there isn't an auto-fire (there is, hold down the spacebar).
