This one hurts, because it was a lot of fun before they tried to "flesh it out" and declare it released. When it was more bare-bones it was actually a much better game.
The campaign story is kind of goofy, but whatever, you don't really pick these up for story. The flight mechanics got worse; less maneuverable, upping the difficulty substantially. Unlocking...
I play this game when I want to switch my brain off an blow stuff up to a nice soundtrack. The game is a bit of a slog until you upgrade your ship enough. After you beat the end boss a few times and know which upgrades are most effective, playing the game becomes far more relaxing.
It...was...disappointing. Is there fun to be had? Yes. But man the characters don't shut up and the levels are kinda bland. Would wait til deep discount for this.
