There is clearly a lot of room for improvement in We Are Football.
The mistake not to make when testing this game (and you, playing it), is to consider that it is worse than the competition because it has no license. In reality, it is different, because it proposes an approach based entirely on strategy and the ground, freeing itself from any realistic considerations.
We Are Football tries to provide a fun experience of football coaching but has a lot of weaknesses compared to works like Football Manager.
Not having a single licensed team or roster just makes it really hard for me to get invested in it. Sure, it has an editor, but that means we will have to wait a bit until a community becomes large enough to start releasing roster updates for the public.
There are some good ideas present and it looks far more promising than most of the Football Manager clones that have come and gone.
