WAW is a unique game concept which aims at simulating in one single system ALL conflicts throughout the world (and beyond) from Prehistoric times to nowadays, from grand massive wars to asymmetrical conflicts.
I like the system (although I prefer the further fleshed out SGS games) and I enjoy the battles I have tried. But I can't be okay paying much for the base game, since it only comes with a handful of scenarios, and the rest range from $4-11. I think the base game should be free, with the DLCs being paid - or lower the cost of DLCs. better still, grab...

As a history nerd I love this game. A lot of the joy comes learning more about obscure & little know conflicts covered by the many dlc.
The simple and easy to learn game mechanics make it the perfect couple of hours fun immersive wind down game.
