Finally a War of 1812 hex driven game. Works well until the end when it locks up which is too bad. Still needs debugging. I hope a future patch will correct this problem.
Covers some of the battles of the War of 1812. Gameplay is as most HexWars games. Decent array of scenarios. If you are comfortable with HexWars style, recommended.
Another strategy game that has an army defeated though it has surrounded and crippled the opponent. One scenario I gained 3 times the points than my opponent and was still deemed to have been defeated. P in the A
Terrible game play, and dreadful in terms of simulating the battles. Played the Battle of Beaver Dams several times as the British, and lost every time. Clearly, an American bias is at work here. Despite the reality of this battle being the utter destruction of the American force in reality, in the game the Americans had overwhelmingly superior numbers...
