Reception

Gameplay may be decent but the, limited energy to play one level without using a checkpoint, game pass that locks features behind it, only being able to do event twice before locking you out behind a paywall micro-transactions and loot boxes are really scummy and the fact that this is a kids game is double scummy. Children deserve better.

The gameplay itself is super fun but the limited amount of energy to play the story levels is an insolence. At the moment I'm able to play ONE time per day, then it takes an entire day to refill enough energy to play again. Also there's features locked behind the game pass and you're only able to do an event twice before it locks you out behind a paywall....

Pros:
- Twin-stick shooter with tight controls
- Addictive power-ups
- Short, colorful levels with nice music

Cons:
- PVP has little nuance and the auto-aiming bots don't help
- Just one chapter in the story mode so far (more to come)
- bare-bones story

Verdict:
Fun casual shooter with an old-school atmosphere.
