Tukoni: Forest Keepers is a cute and cozy puzzle adventure, based on a series of award-winning books by the Ukrainian artist Oksana Bula. Play as the forest spirit Tukoni as you meet unique characters, solve captivating puzzles, brew fragrant tea and explore a magical world filled with kindness.
If you have any appreciation for art, cute animals, cozy games, or a good puzzle, I truly cannot recommend Tukoni: Forest Keepers enough. It’s a joy to play and, in my opinion, a perfect example of what a cozy game should be. My playthrough took about four hours, and my biggest complaint is that I wanted it to be longer!
Everything about Tukoni: Forest...
But it’s packed with good ideas and wholesome interactions. Play Tukoni: Forest Keepers in short sessions, savor the exploration, and maybe get into making tea in the real world.
Tukoni: Forest Keepers is a gentle and yet vibrant autumnal adventure, perfect for the upcoming autumnal months. It is a game about preparing for winter that will seamlessly fit into my own preparations.
Tukoni: Forest Keepers is one of those heartwarming cozy games, not only because of the various herbal teas we’ll find ourselves sipping with friends, but also because of the positive vibes that this world and its inhabitants manage to convey. Let’s pause for a moment and let ourselves be carried away like the leaves in a warm and welcoming forest.
It’s a shame that Tukoni received so little attention from its developers, because it could have been a truly great game. Aside from its graphics and music, players were left with something rather formulaic, despite the considerable anticipation surrounding it even as an indie title.
