Each day brings new challenges and rewards. Dogs have specific preferences, can get infectious diseases, and can have negative traits. But you can also have fundraisers, get random donations, and help someone find their new best friend. Unfortunately, there's never enough room, and always more dogs.
I have played just an absurd number of hours of this game, and can confirm that the gameplay loop is actually great. It's a perfect combination of mindless and soothing, and of course anything with dogs makes it extra cute.
However! The number of bugs is still obscene. Dogs get stuck looping back and forth within their kennels, causing their welfare...
Very cute and sweet! it can sometimes get a little hectic, but with the latest patch after a TWO YEAR hiatus, I think that its a great play! The sandbox mode is just as great as story mode, and all of the fun names and dog breeds keep it feeling fresh!
It's a good game, it really is. Has me hooked for hours - even with how unplayable it is.
Kennels don't work, doors don't work, walking glitches, constantly getting stuck. These bugs have been known for well over 2 years; to report them, I was directed to a dying Discord server that's being filled with hookup ad and crypto spam.
I cannot, CANNOT recommend this game. It's filled with bugs. I purchased upgrades but only the first one took effect, the outdoor play areas don't work. if my all my inventory slots are full, I can't place items back to free up space. I'd get a refund if I could!
This game is really fun and the gameplay loop is addicting but the bugs are really frustrating to encounter like many other reviewers say. I'm not sure if I can recommend or not recommend... probably only grab when it's on sale since the bugs literally make the game unplayable after awhile.
