used to play this on my mobile phone almost a decade ago. like every mobile game, it's bloated with microtransactions and a tedious grind to make just a bit of progress. it's fun if you like turn-based combat, you're a fan of the series and love the characters, but it becomes a boring, pay-to-win chore, real quick.

The turn-based combat fits The Walking Dead setting nicely, rewarding careful positioning and smart use of each survivor. Building up the camp, upgrading familiar characters and taking on increasingly dangerous walker hordes creates a solid tactical progression loop.
I enjoyed this game up to level 10. After that it crashes constantly. I mean constantly. I will keep an eye out to see if they fix their issues. Could be an amazing game if you could play it.
