As much as I love this franchise, I really cannot recommend this sequel. Not only does the new story not make sense, but the battle system is annoying at best, and awful at its worst. The fact that yukitobi, this franchise's creator, stepped away speaks volumes of how the studio bent their knee to distasteful chinese players who only sought fake controversies...

I don't feel like recommending the game YET. It has potential even after the whole controversy with the devs. Just check the internet for some drama and some (imo) weird decisions during development.
