The Island Story is leisure simulation game. Players can change the appearance of the island by placing different animals, plants and decorative items freely. Plants and animals also produce fruit and dust resources for further exploration and play.
By watching the videos and reading some of the reviews this game looks like lots of fun. I'm really into designing things and being creative but this game was just not it for me. I've spent about 15 minutes with this game and have spotted too many flaws to continue with it. The interface is clunky, there are a few bugs around (menus that don't close, stuck on load screen for no reason, language switches to Chinese for no reason) and the tutorial just disappears midway through. The environment system were interesting to look at, I also like the lighting of this game. It is not bad at all for this price.
