The Gap is a sci-fi first person narrative exploration thriller. You play as Joshua Hayes, a neuroscientist who's lost it all. Your mysterious ability to explore parallel realities through deja vu seems to be the only way to recover your memories and salvage your life.
A walking sim with light investigative puzzle solving. A bit similar to games like Tacoma. The story is not that crazy... if you like sci-fi, for sure it's not a new concept. That said, it's quite sad, so be aware of that.
Is it a must play? Probably not... It's OK for what it is. It's extremely short, so more worth it on a discount.

Got stuck two times due to not finding the clues. Came back the next day and found everthing needed.
I finished the game a few moments ago and am overwhelmed by the story, the music, the atmosphere etc.
