Terrible Lizards is an absolute delight, with its unique premise and satisfying parkour gameplay making for a real prehistoric treat. Sure, the ending can feel a little abrupt and there are a few technical hiccups here and there, but they’re small quirks in what is otherwise a wonderfully weird mashup of genres that packs some real bite.

I’m so hyped that games like Terrible Lizards exist. It’s truly like a visit to a gaming roadside attraction. It’s a short day retreat that you enjoy the whole time, marvel at while you’re inside of it, and smile about as you walk out. It doesn’t have to be perfect in every way, and it’s made to be a blast while you’re experiencing it.
