For anyone who absolutely loved Syberia, Syberia 2 is a great sequel. You're in the story, you're used to the controls and the atmosphere of the game, and you just want to know how it ends. For anyone who hasn't played part one, this is unfortunately an abrasion, a game that sticks too much with the previous part just won't be fun for you.
Despite its ongoing technical hiccups, along with the game having done the rounds for well over a decade, it's still a worthy sequel and a good addition to the genre on Switch.
