Steel Racer is a title that tries to evoke the good spirit of 90s arcade racing games, but it slips up by making everything too easy, to the point of becoming a bit tiresome. The visuals and soundtrack even try to make things more interesting, but they are overshadowed by the gameplay that needs some more striking features.
A serviceable budget take on the classic OutRun racing style, but one that generally lacks excitement
