The Legacy of the Sith could have turned out to be an excellent expansion, perfect to celebrate the ten years of life of The Old Republic, but in the end it ends up being a "simple" appetizer for what is in store for the future. Regardless, it's still a good addition for both new and existing players, and the new settings especially shine.

Overview

Star Wars: The Old Republic: Legacy of the Sith is the eighth Digital Expansion to Star Wars: The Old Republic. Legacy of the Sith takes us back to the planet of Manaan, for a new military campaign with the mission of securing a very important planet for their faction. With the update, the level cap was raised to 80, a new flashpoint set on the remote planet of Elom was added, as well as a new Operation that players will need to complete.

Unfortunately, BioWare has some work to do to bring Star Wars: The Old Republic’s Legacy of the Sith expansion to the same quality level as previous expansions. The product’s delay failed to address many glitches and bugs, and developers appeared to ignore community feedback throughout PTS servers and beta testing. As a result, the story’s short length...
Hopefully, Bioware can right the ship and add in some more detailed content and quality of life features that balance things out soon. If not, this new 10-year journey is going to go the way of Mandalore in no time.
