Reception

Skydrift Infinity is a simple and fun remaster that is ideal for moments of rest and relaxation. The few game modes, available tracks and the dead online monde don't hold the player for long, but the game does guarantee fun for a few races every now and then.

because SkyDrift excels at being a fun flying-themed arcade racer, I am happy to have it in my collection of co-op racers on my Xbox. What was once a genre with so many kinds of racers has died off in the years of the Xbox One, so even if SkyDrift Infinity is a remaster of a ten-year-old game, I think it is worth flying for.

Considering its very small price tag, I was beyond delighted with Skydrift Infinity. It is a robust racing game with great visuals, controls, and which offers a ton of replayability, considering its average-at-best amount of content. I may not have heard about it when it first came out ten years ago (let’s be honest, did anyone?), but I’m glad I got...

Skydrift Infinity doesn't want to revolutionize its genre, but this kind of Mario Kart of the skies is nevertheless always fast, adrenalinic and fun, with a good artistic sense and a decent variety for several hours of heart-pounding races.

Whilst it may seem like a no thrills arcade entry, SkyDrift Infinity carries itself well with its gameplay. A kart-game-with-aeroplanes, it hits that nostalgic, high speed level of fun that we haven’t had since the early 2000’s, before everything became all boring and serious.
