Reception

Six Ages 2 is arguably the best implementation to date of the familiar and unique Strategy/RPG gameplay expected of A Sharp's titles.

Six Ages 2: Lights Going Out is designed as an evolution rather than an evolution. Glorantha continues to offer a good setting for role-playing and management, although the apocalyptic element feels a little restrictive. I like the steady flow of events and the care that goes into creating interesting situations and engaging choices.

Six Ages 2 is a sequel that builds on the original, offering an "end of times" tale within familiar framework.

Another solid entry in a unique story-generator series that rewards a fascination with human cultures, but demands acceptance of failure and misfortune.
