In a fantasy world where adventurers take on epic quests to slay vicious beasts, you run a shoppe that sells swords, apparel and potions.
Shoppe Keep is an Indie Management Simulation game developed by Arvydas Žemaitis, and published by Excalibur Games and Merge Games.
There is some stuff to enjoy about Shoppe Keep 2, but there's unfortunately some stuff to dislike. It feels like it left Early Access a little prematurely, as it's missing some things as I've explained, which would have helped the quality of life.
Shoppe Keep is a nice game on the surface, but it lacks any depth beyond the shop walls. That's why it gets repetitive very quickly and only trophy/achievement hunting can keep us playing.
At the end of the day, Shoppe Keep 2 lacks any sort of depth. Its generic setting and art style, which is matched by the boring combat, make adventuring a total bore.
If you put a good amount of time, effort, and have an amazing eye sight, then you might be able to get some good results from the game. It does have an unfinished vibe and there are a few bugs that need a lot of fixing so hopefully the developers will be able to fix this soon (even though they have already started on Shoppe Keep 2).
If you were thinking about leaving caves, dungeons, dragons... with the idea of relaxing in a little medieval shop... well, maybe you're going to live another great adventure! Shoppe Keep will give you plenty of hours managing a fantasy medieval shop where you will able to sell a lot of items, where you will have to avoid thieves getting your items...
