"The busty shinobi of Senran Kagura exchange their kunais for kitchen knives in this epic cooking/rhythm showdown! Culinary warfare is carried out via rhythm battles, and players who can create the ultimate Super Dish may be treated to a special feast for the eyes as well. A rhythm spin-off of the ninja ‘busty brawler’ series, Senran Kagura, Bon Appetit! features cooking battles rather than shinobi showdowns, with emphasis on outrageous humor, delicious food, and gratuitous images of the series’ lovely ladies. This culinary warfare is carried out through an array of rhythm battles, where tapping the correct buttons in time with the beat will rack up combos and determine the size and quality of the resulting dish. Whilst this should really have a 7.5 score, because of how polished and self fulfilling it is as a Senran Kagura game. I can’t justify a lower score unless rating it as a game for everyone. Even if the fan service is a little over the top, it’s too tongue and cheek to take seriously.

Overall Senran Kagura Bon Appetit! is fun, as the rhythm portions and the soundtracks that they use mesh well together. But let's not pull punches about this; this is a game that is going to be exclusively of interest to existing fans of Senran Kagura, and who are also fans of rhythm games. It's not going to convert anyone to the franchise, and unlike...

While Bon Apetit! feels more like a fan-service spin off than a real game at times, it’s actually a lot of fun… It’s light-hearted and witty with a silly side that helps to de-sexualise the more lewd content.

In Bon Appetit, the woman are well designed and varied. The animation and physics have been amped to provide far more bounce in their breasts then you’d find in reality.

Bon Appétit is one part rhythm game, one part cooking, and endless amounts of grimy sexuality. The more time you spend with it, the more likely it is you’ll come away feeling dirty and depressed. If you want to both enjoy a game and look at boobs, there are plenty of better titles out there.
