The follow-up to Screamer is an arcade-style racing game. Unlike its predecessor, it offers a more rally-oriented gameplay. The twelve selectable high-performance road cars of the previous game have been replaced with four rally cars. The game features an improved graphics engine (SVGA) and various tracks including England, Switzerland, Egypt, Colombia, and others. These tracks may be slippery or contain various obstacles and scenery objects such as birds, helicopters, cows, etc. Split-screen head-to-head competitive two-player mode is available.
I've raced the "Screamer" game series since their release in 1995-1996-1997. Using 3dfx graphics greatly improves your visual interface. I play on both a vintage Windows98se setup and my current Windows11 computer. Whilst the game is simple enough in terms of opening new tracks and cars, it is a bit of a buzz competing your skills against AI computer...
E' stato uno dei primi giochi, insieme a diablo, che provai nel lontano 97 (o 98 forse non ricodo), sul mio vecchio pc, un penium 120 con 8 mb di ram. Avevo la demo, che ho consumato, poi comprato il gioco intero (che bello era acquistare i giochi in formato fisico) che ho tutt'ora.
