Another Great Tribute To The Classic Horror One of the surprising discoveries I dug up during Steam February Nextfest 2026. Saint Of Chains is a wonderful first-person psychological horror. The game takes hefty inspiration from classic horror titles, especially from the Silent Hill series and Cry Of Fear. Even the gameplay structures, the low-poly models,...

Overview
Psychological single-player first-person horror. Explore dark environments, fight with melee and guns, and solve puzzles in this retro 2000s-inspired nightmare where the truth is more terrifying than the monsters. Retro Horror - Reborn: A love letter to Silent Hill 3, Lost in Vivo, Condemned: Criminal Origins, and Cry of Fear. Built in the haunting visual style of the PS2 / Xbox360 era — when every shadow felt alive, and every step sounded like a confession.

The biggest problem is that the game feels almost entirely derivative. It essentially lifts the Silent Hill aesthetic wholesale, alongside...
A love letter to Cry of Fear, Silent Hill and Resident Evil. Combat is a bit janky but alright. Atmosphere is top notch. Gameplay is pure survial horror with a bit of Condemned combat and few weapons. Loved every second of it.
A long overdue review. I started this game when it released back in May but life got busy and I put a lot of games away until now. I was able to finish this game and I am very pleased with how it all turned out. These devs always put out good work and this one definitely stands out as being one of my more favorite games from them. I appreciated the...
