A dark fantasy roguelike where you play as the Devil! Lead famous evil geniuses through events and turn-based fights to spread terror and corruption. Create synergies between your disciples, use your evil powers and take revenge on those miserable Demon Hunters.
Flat and lacks both the polish and depth of other entries in this genre. For a big production smooth experience in this vein check out Ruined King, or from the same publisher there's Roguebook which is cute and fun
The tutorial is painful, the handholding is out of this world (pun intended)
I liked the voice acting but the tutorial got me to quit it forever
This is overall, a decent game. Worth trying out and enjoying. But I would rate this a mixed review. The difficulty is a little strange. Its definitely on the more difficult side and in my opinion, detracts from the game. Trying to outscale the enemy as you progress in a run is random. Very random. There's a lot of optimizations to make wins consistent...
Fun deckbuilder game with different characters and different builds , but a bit heavy on the rng , there are just handful of gimmick builds that can carry you to the end. Still really good , solid 7/10
I was hesitant to buy it, but I'm so glad I did. After getting used to the overworld and navigation, I'm having so much fun with how all the features interact with each other in planning your route.
The devil essence mechanic also was jarring at first, but I've fallen in love with it in no time!
