as a person who loves rogue likes and all games like that this game is amazing as the spawn of the entire genre. I love this game its quite fun, the controls are a little interesting and I've had to look up the guide to not die a few times lol. That is something I would recommend is having the guide open for you first playthroughs as its difficult going...

I used to think the 1980s version of Rogue was a terrible game only for the mentally deranged. But after doing research on games from the 70s that led to Rogue's creation, I've really come to respect and admire the design of it for its time.
