This is a weird one.
It is a huge parody on romantic VNs/eroge, authors casually break 4th wall on regular basis and mock usual eroge stereotypes and situations. Humor works, but only if you played a bunch of such games before (5+ I'd say) and can laugh together with authors on common cliches. Even translators had a bit of fun here.
