At first, I thought I was about to play a cool new Fears to Fathom-style horror, but Photomaly has no real soul, and after the second day, everything starts to feel completely meaningless. The Backrooms section is especially disappointing.

Backrooms section completely ruins what was actually an interesting concept. With all due respect, what were you thinking? Take that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ out, the other negative reviews clearly agree - just get rid of it. It adds literally nothing.
I will change my review to positive and repurchase the game once this Backrooms thing is completely optional or gone...
Photomaly is such a creatively bankrupt game that it has to take ideas from left and right just to build its hollow shell. In this game, you manage—or, should I say, work in—a photo shop, because the management aspect is so shallow and nearly incidental to the overall experience. While working there, you also have to deal with paranormal activities....
Backrooms junk ruined the game. Took it from a charming 'run a business' style horror game with some actual good scares to frustrating slop that quit being fun or interesting.
