Outcast 1.1 is an enhanced version of the action-adventure game developed in 1999 by Appeal for the PC.
The enhanced version was built and recompiled from the original source code with improved stability, higher resolution support (max. 1920x1080 due to fixed-point z-buffer), and multi-threaded rendering support.
Absolutely outstanding and magical journey, with a top notch soundtrack. I still can't believe they were able to pull off something like that with 1999 hardware.
Back when I was a kid I only played it a bit, and boy am I glad I decided to pick it up again years later.
That being said, I'd advise to save regularly, and keep copies of your saved games....
Great game from 1999. Even today it holds up. Recommend.
