Relive Olga's childhood memories as she visits her grandparents' home in Belovodica, a secluded mountain village where some discoveries last a lifetime.
This is a new indie game from my home country called "Olga—Episode 1," you learn/explore about a pretty village next to a small city, and the story is great It captures real life scenarios (for someone in the Balkans, it feels close to home). I played it, and it's mostly an adventure/simple puzzle-solving game with an interesting story & twist. I do...
It's a pretty game, but it also looks like a lot of library assets plonked down. There is very little polish:
1. Invisible walls
2. Insignificant Side Mechanics (e.g. throwing things at the runes?)
3. Extremely linear and basic story
There is almost no animation. Things just disappear in puffs of smoke. NPCs just stand still while you talk to them.

My expectations were quite high, but I was still blown away. This managed to capture that cosy childhood atmosphere with such care and originality it had me teary just from how wholesome the whole thing felt 🥹
All the cute animal interactions, the simple yet fun "go grab/do XYZ" missions, not to mention PLAYING AS A FREAKING CAT!!! 😱
My favourite...
This game punches way above its weight for an indie. Graphics are detailed and atmospheric, really captures that specific Balkan village vibe down to the small details. Everything runs smooth, no bugs, no rough edges, just a clean and polished experience start to finish. Highly recommend, looking forward to episode 2 already
