I found the basic rules of the game a bit hard to grasp. The tutorial seems to half assume you know the basic game and doesn't explain it that well. But luckily it's not too complicated to get the hang of how it works and once you get that, it's so much fun to try and outplay your opponent. I'm loving this game so far. I love playing mancala, so I'm excited to have another option to play it digitally that doesn't involve getting repeatedly humiliated by an account named something like "mom" or "kiddos" on Clubhouse Games. Plus, I'm a big fan of roguelike & deckbuilder mechanics, so I'm definitely the target audience for a game like this....
It's very addicting and satisfactory. I'm not very good, but it's easy to learn and get better. There are a couple of bugs that are easy to work around. All in all a solid game.
This is such a an awesome twist on a classic and very traditional old school board game. I admittedly always had difficulty enjoying a game like mancala as I always felt it was too simple. Adding rogue lite elements to it really ups the strategy of this game in such a fun way. There is something really nice about the game paying homage to old school...
