Summary

Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel is a fighting game which crosses over heroines from various visual novels and games released by Nitroplus, as well as those from manga and anime series that Nitroplus writers have been involved with. The game uses five buttons; light attack, medium attack, heavy attack, escape action, and heavy action. The escape action button can be used to perform evasive maneuvers and guards while heavy actions can be used to push an opponent back. Players can perform Infinite Blasts, which can interrupt an opponent's attack, Variable Rushes, which allows for surprise combos, and Lethal Blazes, which serve as the game's super combo attacks. Players can also choose two support characters which they can summon to assist them.

Great

Nitro+ Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel is a fun fighting game that will get your inner waifu going. Without doubt a fan service game, its gameplay mechanics are refreshing enough to provide a great party game experience for you and your friends. Just don't expect many people playing online once Street Fighter V and Tekken 7 arrive!

Great

While sparse on content, the actual fighting of Nitroplus Blasterz is surprisingly deep and enjoyable. Fighting game fans that usually scoff at these types of games should definitely check it out. It has been a nice title to tide me over until Capcom unleashes the big guns this month. I will likely come back to this game over time, as it is super easy...

Good

While the fighting mechanics and especially the assist feature in the game are very well done, if you don't have another person to play with, you're going to have about three hours of fun until you're left with nothing to do.

Good

In the end, Nitroplus Blasterz: Infinite Heroines Duel doesn't reinvent the wheel for fighting games, and ironically enough it's all the better for it. The stripped-down mechanics lead to more pick-up-and-play sessions without feeling overwhelmed by too many rules to follow, and the cast of characters are entertaining enough just to witness in action...

Mediocre

When you boil it down to its very core, Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel struggles to find its footing in the vast ocean of available fighting titles. There's a fast-paced, casual title to be found here, with a wide roster of uniquely designed, beautifully stylized characters and supporting abilities.
