A ruthless settlement-survival RPG in a post-plague medieval world full of cruelty and despair. Gather survivors, build a settlement, craft, master your skills, survive, and endure alone or in online co-op.
Super cool concept, super poor execution.
The game is indeed quite laggy, I got about 24fps with pretty significant stutters at the beginning of the game.
I could not get past 'Follow Baulder 5/7. He just stood there and would not move. I left the game, joined back in, and lost all progress I had made.
Frankly, I don't wish to try playing again.
Pretty bad beginning. You get stuck on a quest to find a villager, which are apparently located in random event spots which can spawn either npc's to recruit or bandits. Only had bandits on 5+ events so far and combat is so bad. Sluggish movement, reach feels off.
still needs a little more polishing and a few good updates but other than that its a fun game and has great potential for a good game
Solo survival is genuinely tough, so playing with friends is the better call — at least you won't get bored as easily.
Play solo or co-op with friends. Explore the map for resources while planning your settlement. The survival management is immersive, and the atmosphere of the plague-stricken medieval world is well crafted.
