Creating a world isn’t easy, but it’s certainly a whole load of fun, as you’ll find out in this exciting casual worldbuilding adventure game. It takes mining, crafting, logging, digging, smelting, construction and a little gardening to make the perfect planet, and you’ll have to do all that while fighting off primeval monsters intent on bringing an end to your divine plan. Armed with just a pickaxe and the almighty strength of your arms, get down to doing a god’s work and build a world of wonder in this addictive, original action game.
My Little Universe surprised me with its addictive gameplay loop to the point I kept coming back for more until I finished it. Whilst the game is never particularly challenging, you do feel a sense of progression as you dive deeper into each area. I put a little over 20 hours into the game, so there is plenty of content here if you want to achieve 100%....
If you want to turn your brain off and play a game in the background while you’re doing something else that requires more of your attention, I could see why you might be interested in My Little Universe. It’s a game that seems tailor-made for turning on and ignoring it even as you play, like a slightly more demanding clicker game.
While there’s a mesmerizing flow to the grind perhaps, there’s mechanically not much happening here
My Little Universe is an adventure game in which you explore 9 different planets to restore them back to their original environments by collecting materials and expanding resources. You can upgrade your tools, fight monsters, and discover new materials in this casual tycoon-like game.
