As mankind races to create new weapons to turn the tide in its war against alien invaders, Yuuya, a hot-headed American pilot, is assigned to work with a beautiful but cold Japanese officer on a top-secret project. Can they learn to work together in time to make the weapon that saves us all?
Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse is an interesting visual novel with a complex story and interesting characters. If you are a fan of anime-based games like this, it is worth checking out. If you like more interaction within your games you won't find much enjoyment in this title.
Ultimately, the visual novel is by a wide margin the best way to experience the Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse story, leaving the anime far behind.
