"A long long time ago, so long ago, you would not know when..."
Midsummer Night is a non-linear adventure game made with gamemaker telling a story combining lores of slavic fairy tales.
It has simple but original art, beautiful music and ambient sounds that fit perfectly with the overall atmosphere of the game.
Alyonushka has been kidnapped by a bear....
A short adventure game, in which you play as a young boy living with his sister on their own at the edge of a forest, until one fateful afternoon when the sister is abducted by a horrible monster and dragged into the forest, and the boy must set out on its trail to save her. But it is the shortest night of the year, when old magics awaken and anything...
Great atmosphere. The story is well told, with an appropriate sense of humor. Beautiful music.
The puzzles (such as they are) are a good difficulty. There are hints in the menu that point you in the right direction without simply giving you the answer.
It's a memorable experience.
A nice and atmospheric game. The graphics and sounds are well done and really help you to immerse yourself into the games world. While the game is short, it does have a branching storyline, where different decisions take you down different paths, giving it replayability.
