Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater's Fox Hunt multiplayer mode rounds off one of the best remakes of 2025. It offers a surprisingly robust spin on existing battle royale and extraction shooter concepts, with smaller maps and match times working in its favour, successfully incorporating those stealth and strategy elements fans have come to expect.

If nothing else, I can say I felt just as awed upon defeating The End as I always have done after fighting that wonderful old bastard, so I’m pretty confident Delta’s nailed it.
It is the perfect gift for Metal Gear Solid fans, ten years after the mainline game. Despite some minor gripes specific to the PlayStation 5 integration, this game is a sign that you can, in fact, improve on perfection... if it's part of the mission.
Remaking Metal Gear without its creator seems foolhardy but this is as good an effort as could be imagined, without completely redesigning the original game.
