Mercenaries Saga 1 is a turn based tactical simulation RPG. It is the first of the series followed by many other solid simulation games: Mercenaries Blaze and Mercenaries Rebirth being the most recent addition to the series.
I love classic SRPGs, especially in this style. However, many glaring issues here: 1. Archaic keyboard only controls with no mouse support, 2. No ability to zoom or rotate the filed which given the perspective, makes for a tedious movement and selection process. 3. The reason I gave up - absurd level scaling of the enemies (at least in the early game)...
