OK, so I got everything working. I can do all jobs and mostly seem to have unlocked everything. I did not run across any game locking glitches or underpaying jobs for work. So it seems most of the common complaints of the game not working or being unfair are fixed.
Its still a boring as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ simulator.
