"Magicraft" is a Roguelike game that uses a variety of spells to match unimaginable spell effects, and the construction of ultra-high degrees of freedom cannot even be exhausted by developers.
I consider this game to be at the top of the evolution of the genre. It is addictive as hell.
I also like its light tone and silly humor.
I'm playing on macOS using CrossOver and it works just fine.
It seems like almost every run I end up with a wildly different build. The synergies you find on accident are awesome and if you get a build you are aiming for, you feel unstoppable.
If you love tinkering with synergies, experimenting with mechanics, and crafting absurdly broken builds that wipe whole rooms in a single button press, Magicraft is an easy must-play. It takes the best parts of wand-crafting sandbox games and wraps them in a snappy, addictive roguelite loop.
This game is awesome! Experimenting with spell combinations is exactly what I imagined the Path of Exile gem system would be like.
Absolutely fantastic game. Binding of Isaac style shenanigans meets Noita wand building (but much simpler, and easier)
