I played around three or four runs, and I lost every single one. I couldn't win even one run. I only managed to get my character to around level 3.
I think the main problem here is that the game is a roguelike rather than a roguelite. In other words, your character doesn't permanently get stronger after you die. Yes, you unlock new items and other things,...
A pretty fun game, though it's pretty hard to beat. Kinda like slay the spire. I wish they had more upgrade smiths.
Another fun dice roguelike, of the non-Balatro school (as I prefer). This one allows you to rearrange the faces of your dice before every fight (subject to budgetary constraints), so there's at times a strong sideboarding-for-the-matchup feel. Fun presentation, decent quality of life features, nice crunchy decisions.
Great game for those who like dice-building rogulikes, as well as for those who want to try the genre for the first time.
