An android is led through a vast structure by a glitch in his visual system. Lorn's Lure is an atmospheric narrative first-person platformer with novel climbing mechanics and modernized retro 3D graphics.
I really wanted to love this game. I still have the alpha version of this and replay it occassionally. It seemed to promise an exploration game, where I could get places however I wanted.
The first level, while a bit worse than the alpha version of it, was good. You get a vague goal to reach, a pair of climbing picks, and a freedom to explore and do...
I like the environment of this game and the huge scale of things. However, the inconsistent wall jumping and the speed at which you reach terminal velocity within an INCH from landing on a platform that is not far down is frustrating me to no end. I want to explore this game's world and learn what the owl is but I have to drop it before I lose my mind...

The "climb anything" mechanic is actually "climb only flat concrete walls, and only where we...
An overall really fun experience. The overall presentation make me want to call this a meditative traversal game, but the difficulty begins to ramp quite steeply after the first few levels. Lorns Lure will begin to test you soon after playing, and you'll need to figure out the finer points of the mechanics yourself.
If you like challenge, go for it....
