Nuclear Reactor Simulator, operable by a single person with the help of an AI Assistant, stalked by Bel'Uk, the third demon that invaded our world, and all the dead who support him. You must survive and keep the reactor running to light up the city.
It looks very promising at first, but unfortunately the closer I look the clearer it becomes that there's no physically correct simulation, only a bunch of ad-hoc approximations that look kind of right in simple situations but are rather meaningless. This is a game so I don't expect precision but even most basic rules are completely disregarded, massive...
Decided I was mature enough to run a nuclear plant. Played with chemicals enabled. Became fustrated with Mr Electron dinkhead denying me a chance to shut down my plant for maintainence, even though my transformer was 60% worn, reactor xenon poisoned. Got fed up, pulled rods completely out, maxed boron removal pump. Put on my hazmat suit, went to train....
Well this is going to eat hours of my life, I can tell.
Lots of fun figuring out how the systems interact with each other. I'm not even considering adding chemicals into the mix yet, and I'm already enjoying this a lot.
