You lead one of many kingdoms. Form armies, negotiate, trade or conquer other kingdoms. Hire heroes to explore dungeons, lead armies, govern, or go on missions. Research to increase your power. Construct buildings to improve your kingdom. Easy to learn, difficult to master.
It's a nice change of pace from other strategy games, pretty unique. Feels like a 4x game distilled down to have quick easy turns, but it takes a lot of turns to build your empire. The heroes questing gives a nice extra layer but is shallow. It's def not the Birthright: Gorgon's Alliance successor I was hoping for.
It's a €15 game imo, so I'd recommend...
A real shame it's so hard to the eyes all text is so small. I guess the niche market might only be youngsters. That said however dev came thru with help.
On a side note really looking forward to the new WWII game coming as that is more my cup of tea. Changing my review to a positive one as I do respect a responsive dev. Thank you!
