The game consists of two different soccer simulations, you can carry out a match in the stadium or indoors. The field is always shown from the top and scrolled softly into all directions.
Different game modes make for diversity. Up to 15 players can enter their names and then compete with each other in a league. One can also take part in a World Cup, whereby the venue corresponds to the one of a real World Cup. The computer takes over the controls of as many teams as needed. A two-player friendly can be played head to head.
The game offers features as "banana kick", "action replay" and weather.
The original was developed by Sensible Software for the C64, Electronic Pencil Company were responsible for the Amiga and Atari ST versions.
The first real football/soccer game.
First real because it was the first game that captured actionfilled gameplay, all games that came before were very slow to play, the above the pitch camera and top to bottom scrolling gave this game that much needed speed.
Controlls were the best you could get back in the day. Tournaments and league play one game...

Do not get this, it has no C64 outdoor mode despite being in the trailer. Other reviews mention this too.
Its the best reason to get the game and if you remember this game that's all you'll be looking for! WIthout it its not worth it, sadly (It was great back in the day)
Great reminder of a time I was obsessed with this game, many years ago. I wish this included the C64 outdoor game though!
