In Junkyard Simulator you play as owner of scrap yard, which with his own hands is trying to create the largest junkyard in the area. The way you do it depends on your decision! Do you want to manually search and collect the best scrap?
This game really should be called Jankyard Simulator.
Besides the jank the entire game feels very disjointed, it's like they've been working on the game for years and kept adding random game mechanics, places and systems into the game but it all doesn't fit together.

I'm quite torn about giving this game a positive or negative review. The atmosphere is very enjoyable for this kind of game and I do enjoy that there are different methods of finding scrap throughout the world and processing it. After all, it is a very relaxing and slow paced Simulator in my opinion. However, I would love if they added more progression...
I thought it might be a fun game, but it lost me instantly with the bugs and the AI music.
Honestly the developer continues to surprise me. They have worked on it for a long time and unlike most other simulators i have played this dev has not abandoned this game at all. every time i come back there is either some sort of new content or improvement to gameplay by way of system overhaul or redesign. I expect they are still going to keep working...
I really wanted to play this. I got 50 minutes in and got to the part where you have to do the restoration and due to having messed up hands and nerve damage I couldn't tolerate having to move the mouse around scrubbing every little part of the engine :( I was having fun up until that point but there is no way I can continue to play this game having...
