It’s Raining Acorn! is an idle pachinko drafting game where strategy meets nature in a beautifully crafted, vertically scrolling forest. It sits on the side of your desktop and you can leave it running while you work, but good luck focusing when you see those acorns bounce, roll, and trigger satisfying combos across your custom-built forest.
A good idea in principle, but having the UI pop-up and cover the game screen is very frustrating. Bugs in the code, such as removing the movement cost from your balance before checking if it is a legal move leave the user feeling puzzled.
very addictive, has a lot of potential
It's my second desktop game after Rusty Retirement!
But the raining acorns give a different experience—they distract your eyes!
I'm enjoying it so far, especially the boink-boink of the falling acorns!
Great free games!
It's shame... the game UI is very small, can't full screen.
UI and rules could really use better documentation, but good lord, I love the complexities and playability of this game. Heads up: as of March 2025, ascension point unlocks don't carry over between runs. That was not a pleasant surprise. However, aside from that, this has been one of my favorite idle games, period!
