As a whole, Inferno 2 was an exceptionally lackluster experience with hardly any highlights. For a twin-stick shooter RPG hybrid, I believe Radiangames perhaps should’ve made sure the level design and balance was more spot-on. For $4.99 and a roughly 4-6 hour experience, it is a fine enough purchase for fans of the genre, especially if played on co-op....
For me, Inferno 2 comes off as feeling very basic and worn. In the end, I was still just moving a circle around a Tron inspired background, shooting shapes at other shapes searching for the next exit.
Inferno 2 was a pleasurable vivacious ecstasy-like trip. I beat it in two sittings making it on the shorter side, but for only $4.99 the value is more than favorable in my opinion.
