A card game by the name of Magic Monsters is taking the country by storm. Itsuki Nakajou doesn't have many friends and isn't passionate about anything, but that all starts to change once he's introduced to the world of Magic Monsters. Craft a winning deck of cards and battle your way to the top! From hotheaded classmates to seedy criminals, everyone's getting in on the Magic Monsters craze, and they're all ready and waiting to put you in your place!
yeah, the characters do look very young, but they "are all 18 years or older"
beyond that, the game is basically a pocket dimension where a card game become an absolute phenomenon, and the card game is actually implemented and given extremely prominent focus in this release
it touches upon the social aspects of things like card shops, trading cards...
The story is not bad. Surprising at times, even.
The game is basic, but it's creative that they do so much with so little, and the creative combos that can be created tailored to defeat an opponent. It makes opening packs fun.
The main issue with it is that, due to politics, the author cannot even get paid for their work. So I would recommend searching...
Masterpiece. I didn't have high expectations, so I was really surprised. Gameplay is pretty good and actually requires some brainpower to overcome certain opponents. Story is very good. Characters are fleshed out. Money well spent. I hope we get the DLC too.
Noice
Makiri feels like a major character why no characcter sprite a bit disappointing.
