Home Office Simulator is a relaxing and cute simulator game about the experience of a girl called Ayame, working remotely. Part of the game is to keep Ayame free from distractions and keep her focused.
Pros;
- Simple game, no explanation needed; tap the pop-up balloons when they appear and just build up an income.
Cons;
- Starts up with graphics settings maxed out which may make mid-tier PCs or the Steam Deck struggle to even get into the menu. YMMV.
- HUGE "hand" cursor makes tapping anything in the main menus difficult, such as changing graphics...
So I don't remember how I got this game in my library. But anyways, It's kinda annoying. The strategy is just like any clicker game that makes you sucked into the screen for hours at a time. Click to earn money, buy upgrade, continue to click, buy better upgrade and repeat. I found that the only thing worth doing in the game was getting all the achievements....
I am really enjoying this game. It is keeping me engaged in a way clicker games should. Not complicated. It's a good way to waste time.
completely beat the game within 3 full hours. all achievements as well. Its cute not worth 10$, only 3$ on the switch. Would have been better if you could move the camera around and maybe zoom in. I generally stay away from games that don't allow that. It is a killer on the hand with all the clicking. the work hard button should be made to be clicked...
Not very optimized and the gameplay is very tedious and the "lore" makes no sense (why pay for more distractions and why do distractions give you extra money).
