A visual novel where you play as a beleaguered henchman working for a bumbling supervillain, and a slice of superhero satire packed with colorful characters and meaningful choices. Even henchmen have bills to pay, and sometimes, even henchmen can make choices that change everything.
Henchman Story is a hilarious ride with a real heart to it, and its comic book style and full voice acting make it stand out from the crowd of English language visual novels. It’s an easy recommendation, especially if you’re looking for a change of pace from the usual anime-adjacent fare that visual novels are known for.
But for the most part, Henchman Story is a funny, fulfilling ride though the frequently silly, occasionally grim world of supervillains and the poor, overlooked souls who serve them.
Henchman Story is a fun, endearing and extremely witty visual novel that not only pokes fun at superhero flicks and comics but celebrates them too.
If you’re looking for a visual novel that delivers almost everything perfectly, then look no further than Henchman Story.
