If you like unique combat systems in turn-based games, this game is perfect. Along with fun dialouge and characters, this game has a very unique charm that you don't see too often.
I discovered this game through a Youtube video titled something like "This $2 RPG Outclasses AAA RPGs" focusing on this game's combat system, and I rolled my eyes at it (the video, not Helen) because dawg it's just Cinnamon Toast TurnOrder, the Action Speed you can see, that's nothing too crazy. Though the way damage mitigation is handled is quite different...
Very nice little rpg. Good music, an infinitely stacking speed buff, memorable characters, an infinitely stacking heal/atk buff, a fair amount of secrets to go around and an infinitely stacking defense buff.
9/10, would stack again.
Wow a rare 10/10 experience. Short and sweet. Not filled with boatloads of filler encounters. Combat system fun and interesting. Story was great, and they didn't try to do too much. A good amount of exploration, but not so much that I felt lost. Equipment management was a joy. What an incredible little game, maybe about 6 hours long.
Perhaps one of the best games RPG Maker offers.
Fun and strategic battle system, good characters and story, plus very rewarding challenges at the end of your exploration. Arguably a flawless game of its kind, an inspiration for any RPGmaker developer.
